Woohoo! We are home. It is so nice to be back home with Preston and Cameron. I have been worring about Cameron's surgery for so long that I don't know what to do with myself now. It is like a BIG weight has been lifted. The doctor said "he is as good as new. And in Cameron's case, better than new!" Thank you all for sending your positve thoughts and prayers our way. We truly appreciate your support. |

He is still doing great. This am he once again had some plumbing issues, but those resolved this pm with a bang. A smelly bang but a bang it was. We see many other children where we are staying that have had some type of surgery at Childrens Hospital of Philly. One 3 month old had open heart surgery on Monday of this week and was discharged today. Thank you everyone for all of your prayers and thoughts. |

We were worried last night becuase he did not have a good, how might you say it, . . poop last night. Morphine can cause a stoppage in play down there. He is no longer on Morphine, so it is up to him to poop. He was really struggling last night at 11:00pm with gas and pain in his lower belly. We came back this morning and he had 3 poops last night and the first as expected, the cork, was big. He fed really well this morning and right after he showed his digestion skills in a freshly changed diaper. The pain management team came in about 10:00am and stated the epidural sight looks great. Hopefully he will be discharged today. Cameron was discharged today at 3:30pm. We are so happy. He has an appt with the doctor on Monday morning and we are flying out Monday night.
